Royal Watercolour Society web site: Bankside Gallery is the home of the Royal Watercolour Society (RWS) and the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE). We run a changing programme of exhibitions of contemporary watercolours and original prints by Members of the two Societies. Members are elected by their peers in a tradition of excellence reaching back almost two hundred years. Their work embraces both established and experimental practices and the exhibitions reflect these different approaches. |
